Strategic Communications and Creative Development

The “If You See Something, Say Something ®” (S4) Campaign is a national campaign that works to raise awareness about terrorism and terrorism-related crime, as well as the importance of reporting suspicious activity to state and local law enforcement. Primary objectives included:

  • Educate the general public and all demographics about the “See Something, Say Something®” campaign.
  • Reach the public, where the public is, with relevant messaging on “how-to” report suspicious activity.

Drawing from ECU’s analysis and a thoughtful understanding of S4’s goals, needs, and perspective, ECU’s strategy centered on audience behavior and contextual insights that delivered a unified approach to external engagement for critical stakeholders, the general public. state, local, tribal, territorial governments, and faith-based communities among others.

Our strategy included the following services:

  • Extensive target audience research and segmentation
  • Paid and Earned Media and Public Service Announcements (PSAs)
  • Partnership identification, growth, and engagement
  • Creative development
  • Website development and maintenance
  • In-person and virtual events support

Accomplishments: Utilizing our highly strategic creative approach, ECU successfully enabled the program campaign to meet audiences where they are to ensure our messaging resonated emotionally and inspired action.
